    This top heating element for Atag oven consists of two heating elements. One heat string (most often the inner one) works for grill function and the other (most often the outer one) for conventional top heat.

    If the upper heating element is defective, you will typically find that your Atag oven heats well on lower heat and convection, but that no heat is emitted when the upper heating function is activated.
