Washing machine making noise when spinning

If the washing machine is making a noise when the drum is turned – either by hand or when on spin cycle – then it’s typically due to a foreign object being caught in the drum or in the drain pump.

You can remove foreign objects through the hole by the hose connecting the drum and the pump, or alternatively through the hole in which the heating element is located. However, be aware that if you remove foreign objects through the hole in which the heating element is located, the heating element may be difficult or impossible to reinsert. This is because the flange of the heating element hardens over time and loses its elasticity, which will result in it no longer closing tightly.

Find a new heating element for your washing machine here.
